Wandering With Michael

Some while back, Michael and I took a drive down to the coastal trail with the intentions of doing some industrial-looking photos. It started out that way, with this tunnel and fence.

But as we continued wandering, Michael ventured out onto the ice, and I was enthralled by the texture Alaska was showing me.

It is amazing that landscape in Alaska ranges from soft oceans, lush forests, to sharp, edgy-looking ice.

And with the shipyard in the background, I felt like the landscape was playing into our industrial-feel. It almost looks like the barren, uninviting ice could be a result of the background (read: apocalypse)

I used the rock from the above photo and a stock photo of some clouds to make it look like Michael is an expert mountain climber.
